Strider Sports Review & Giveaway CLOSED

Congrats to winner: paula michele

With the Strider™ PREbike, there are no "tricycle tip-overs" or "training-wheel wobbles" to create a fear, hesitancy, or dislike of bike riding. The Strider™ running bike helps toddlers learn balance and coordination BEFORE pedaling, which develops glittering confidence. So ditch the tricycle and training wheels, and teach your child to ride a bike sooner and safer with a Strider™.
The Strider™ teaches your child balance, coordination and develops glittering confidence. Trikes and bikes with training wheels don’t. Traditional bicycles place too much of the focus on learning to pedal -- skimping on developing your child’s motor skills. And tricycles are heavy, clunky and difficult for kids to control.
I received the Strider Bike in green for my son, Brinner.  The assembly of the bike was very simple!  I had the bike built in less than 10 minutes.  This bike is too cute, it's so tiny, perfect for toddlers!  Brinner is 20 months old so the bike's size was perfect for him.  It took a few days for him to adapt to the bike.  Rather than sitting on the seat, he just straddles the bike.  He walks with his Strider rather than running with it.  With practice, he'll learn how to keep his balance and gain speed. After he mastered this maneuver he was off following his big brother and cousins around on their bikes! This is a little more difficult for him to get the hang of than it probably would be a child around 2 years or older.  My 3 1/2 year old niece tried out the bike, and she did perfect on it!  I believe this will give Brinner great experience and he'll be prepped and ready when it comes time for a big bike!  I really don't have any disadvantages of the bike!  This is probably because Strider has conducted a lot of tests, making sure their bike is as close to perfect as it can be!

Advantages of The Strider...
- The bike is designed for ages 1-5 years & up to 50 lbs.  This is great because he will gain confidence along with experience as he goes!
- The Strider is lightweight. Less that 7 pounds (about 1/3 the weight of a typical 12" pedal bike with training wheels).
- The bike focuses on teaching tots balance unlike trikes and training wheels.
- The Strider is very safe.  There aren't any cables, chains, pedals, or other protrusions to harm the child!
- The seat and handlebars are adjustable to fit your child.
- No steering limiter... The handlebar turns freely without stopping.  This prevents hand grips being jammed into the child's stomach in a fall!
 - EVA Polymer Tires.  These tires are 48% lighter than the typical bike.  It helps with traction and there is never any flats so that means no pumping, EVER!!!
